Diverse Learning Environments
Babies
Our baby room caters for our 0–2-year-old children, where we implement a 3:1 child to staff ratio.
With a sage green colour theme our baby room environment is bright and stimulating, coinciding with our staff who offer a caring and responsive approach, we have created a room full of warmth!

Our babies are encouraged and guided through their exploration of the people and world around them, ensuring that they have positive attachments and experiences that support healthy brain development.
We focus on the sensory aspect of learning, which is supported through key play aspects such as dance, rhymes and stories. As the babies develop, they will be supported in participating in a wider range of educational play-based learning.

We work closely with families to ensure your baby’s home routine is followed. This provides continuity and stability for you and your child.

Toddlers
Our toddler room caters for our 2–3-year-old children, where we implement a 5:1 child to staff ratio.
​
With a baby blue colour theme our toddler room is a vibrant and purposeful environment, adapted to support toddlers on the go, with busy hands and feet comes lots to do!
​
We offer a balance between adult and child led learning, focusing on the importance of a wide variety of educational yet fun activities that encourage the development new thinking skills and abilities. Our toddlers are encouraged to follow their interest and begin to lead their own play.
​
At Bright Spaks we work with families in our toddler to begin the journey of potty training. Independence in meeting their own care needs is a beautiful journey for our toddlers and we pace that journey according to their stage of development and needs.

Rising 3's
Our Rising 3’s room caters for our 3 -year-old children, where we implement a 8:1 child to staff ratio.
​
With a sweet yellow colour theme, our rising 3’s room is lively and brilliant at keeping busy minds, creating, imagining and building.
​
A balance between the transition from play to more active learning and critical thinking is key in our rising 3’s room. We offer key opportunities to build on existing knowledge and extend to more compound thoughts and ideas.
​
Children are encouraged to be independent and to make their own choices from a wide range of different activities. Our adult led learning opportunities are led through children’s individual next steps and personal milestones, coupled with our comprehensive nursery curriculum.

Preschool
Our Preschool room caters for our 4-year-old children, where we implement a 8:1 child to staff ratio.
​
With a brilliant red colour theme, our environment is created to encourage free choices and independence, where resources are tailored to ignite curiosity and inquisition.
​
Our preschool children are encouraged to create and test their ideas, thoughts and opinions and develop connections and conversations through sustained shared thinking.
​
Our curriculum scaffolds children’s learning, whilst encouraging a healthy balance of risk and challenge within a controlled and supervised space.
​
At the end of their time in pre-school, the children will have increased levels of confidence, independence and be socially interactive, thus supporting their transition onto the next stage of their learning adventure, school!
